Highlights
Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park is the most renowned safari destination in the world. It is home to a huge variety of species, including the 'Big 5', which are easily spotted due to the large numbers prevalent in the park. Although it is one of the most developed, accessible parks, it is also a premier ecotourism destination.
Travellers can choose between hiring a car for independent exploration, taking one of a range of adventure tours which can be extended to other parts of Africa, or joining a guided safari suited to their individual tastes and budget - Read more |

Namibia
A land of contrasts between the white dust of Etosha National Park, the arid desert of the West Coast, the lush forests of the Caprivi Strip and the rugged walls of the Fish River Canyon. There's plenty to do, including safaris, adrenaline pumping adventure activities, hiking trails, and discovering the fascinating local culture.
Public transport is not the most efficient way to see all of Namibia. Even a 2x2 won't manage some of the roads, so it's best to hire a 4x4. Alternatively, relax, see the highlights and meet new people on an overland truck. See adventure section for details on the available trips - Read more |

Mozambique
One of the most popular reasons for visiting Mozambique is the diving. Rich marine ecosystems can be found all along the fantasic 2,700 km Indian Ocean coastline, including extensive coral reefs (some stretching more than 700 km). Other attractions include the interesting local culture, game viewing and bird watching along Africa's two most famous rivers, the Zambezi and the Limpopo.
Public transport is available, although limited and very time consuming. No worries if you've got all the time in the world! Other options include hiring a car or joining an overland truck trip - Read more |

Western Cape
There is a fantastic amount to see and do in the Western Cape. Table Mountain dominates the city of Cape Town, where you will find the Waterfront, beaches, museums, shopping and nightlife. In easy reach are the lush wine region, the stark beauty of the West Coast, the stunning Garden Route, and the arid expanses of the Klein Karoo which offers natural wonders such as the awesome Cango Caves.
Getting around is no problem with plenty of options, from hiring a car to the Baz Bus which provides door to door (backpacker to backpacker) drop off. There is a huge variety of offers based on different destinations, overland trucks and tour vans - something to suit every time scale and budget! - Read more |

Eastern Cape
Discover the Sunshine Coast and the rugged Wild Coast, then explore the lush green landscapes of the interior. Tourism is not highly developed here, so you can get away from everything, return to nature and experience the true Africa.
Public transport is limited, so why not use the Baz Bus, which lets you hop on and off along the route, dropping you at the door of your hostel. Other options include hiring a car, or seeing all the highlights and making new friends on an overland truck - Read more |
