Included in the Luangwa Deluxe Safari price are: all activities, meals and accomodation, transfers to and from Chipata, all National Park entry fees, entrance to Chipembele Education Centre, wine with dinner, all sundowners.

Day One: 

• Mid-morning departure from Chipata to campsite game watching en route
• Guide briefing, lazy lunch followed by afternoon game drive
• Sundowners at oxbow lagoon before continuing on game drive into the night – (excellent opportunity for spotting nocturnal animals like the elusive leopard, honeybadgers and lion)
• Return to camp around 20:00 – 20:30 for dinner

Day Two: 

• Early morning wake up, light breakfast, tea/coffee, followed by morning game drive
• Return to camp around 11:00 for brunch and time to relax, swim or have a drink at the bar
• Early afternoon lunch followed by walking safari with armed guide – he will lead you to your bush camp for the night, tracking animals and learning about the bush en route
• Sundowners followed by dinner at bush camp on edge of Luangwa River
• Evening spent around campfire, telling stories and stargazing before sleeping to the sounds of the African bush

Day Three: 

• Breakfast at bush camp followed by walking safari back to main camp
• Learn about medicinal and spiritual uses of plants on the way
• After lunch head to Chipembele Education Centre (orphaned animals are rehabilitated here before returning to the wild)
• Sundowners over the Luangwa River before a night drive back to camp
• Dinner around 20:00

Day Four: 

• Early morning start and light breakfast, tea/coffee
• Highlight of the safari today as we head deep into South Luangwa where not many visitors usually ever get to see |(northern part of the park)
• Morning breakfast
• Very adventurous day spotting rare sightings like wild dog and eland. Relax under sausage trees in mid-day heat. Sundowners in the bush
• Night drive back to camp spotting nocturnal animals
• Back to camp for BBQ, drinks and campfire

Day Five: 

• Big fry up breakfast at Kakumbi Salt Pan
• Particularly special day for bird watching, whilst passing through Cathedral Mopani Forests.
• Birds such as racket-tailed rollers and white-helmet shrikes can be seen.
• Large flocks of crowned cranes and water birds found at the salt pan
• Return to camp and relax a little before heading back to Chipata
