No trip to Cape Town could be complete without visiting the area it's named after, Cape Point. After picking you up from your accommodation, we travel along the scenic Atlantic Seaboard to Hout Bay. Once in Hout Bay, the optional boat cruise to visit the Cape Fur Seal colony on Duiker Island is highly recommended. Alternatively, explore the harbour and check out some of the local crafts. We then continue on through historic Simon's Town to visit the African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Travelling on along the peninsula, we then enter the Cape Point Nature Reserve. If you're feeling energetic you can set off on an exhilarating cycle ride. A picnic lunch is enjoyed in the Nature Reserve and we spend some time at both Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope - the most south-westerly point of Africa. We then depart for the scenic coastal road back to Cape Town, returning you to your hotel in time for a well earned rest!
